Attention Nurses Educated Abroad

Are you a professional nurse licensed from abroad?  Are you thinking about taking the New York State NCLEX-RN?  Or, have you done so unsuccessfully in the past?

Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing is offering a six-month review course to prepare you for successful entry into the profession.  Enrollment is limited to participants who have completed their document verification process with the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (www.cgfns.org).

Classes will meet once each week, on Thursday evenings from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, beginning November 2nd.  Topics include:  medical/surgical, obstetrics/gynecology, psychiatric/mental health, and pediatrics.  The course also includes a section to enhance your test-taking strategies.  There is no fee for the course.  Participants are, however, responsible for the purchase of the required textbook ($75).

You may print a copy of the application form from this Web site, or for more information, contact Linda Fabrizio, Manager of Student Services, at lfabrizio@chpnet.org.

This course is offered through a grant from The Promise of Nursing for New York State Nursing School Grant Program administered by the National Student Nurses’ Association.
