ADMISSIONS
PLEASE NOTE ENROLLMENT IS ANNUALLY IN THE FALL SEMESTER Applicants must have earned the following to be considered for admission:
High School Units Must Include:
*either one year at the high school level or one semester at the college level is required of all candidates, including those with a GED
For those candidates educated outside of the United States, a high school equivalency diploma may be necessary. The equivalency diploma may be waived if the candidate possesses a baccalaureate degree from a foreign institution of higher education where instruction is conducted in English. Oral and written English comprehension skills may need to be demonstrated by further examination such as the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The minimum acceptable score on the paper and pencil TOEFL exam is 550. Applicants with Special Needs:Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing is dedicated to the elimination of architectural and other barriers that prevent any qualified person from attending. Candidates who anticipate the need for special services are encouraged to contact the Admissions Office to arrange a visit to the school. During the visit, applicants will receive information concerning all features of school life and the student’s responsibilities to meet program outcomes. Also, they can share with school officials any information pertinent to their special needs. |
